I am in the process of doing a tube tail for one of my Lanterns. I thought ...I have white (lots), black (quite a bit), an a kind of reddy-orange (enough).to make a tube tail about 25' long and 3.5' in Diameter. So this is what i designed thinking that a spiral turning tube tail would be neato. (That's an old word. It means "good" for those of you that were born after 1970)
If I had made this I would be in great shape...unfortunately I decided to double the width of each panel and now I have the red stripe lining up with the black stripe and so on. So as the tube tail spins it looks like the stripes turn from red to black and back to red...etc.
Ooooooooooooh...well. _________________ Ron

It's a feature, not a bug. _________________ John Rose

Maybe 3-4 ' of snow and perhaps -30 and winds gusting to 90 mph would encourage you...not!!!!
Now, I really am just making this up...but not so foreign to the winters we experience here.
So far (knock on wood) we've had a rather gentle winter. Thank Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. |
