I've been thinking about that idea, too.... Smile
Would be great, if there could be a kind of "online-diary".

In this way everybody would be able to follow your itinerary and read about your adventures ! Cool

Exactly what I was hoping to do Cool
I'll need some help with the typing so be prepared Laughing

I've been helping Pumpkin make some edgebinding for the Royal 69 sled that he's making for me to travel with but the sap is all fingers and thumbs. Can't sew edgebinding straight for toffee Confused

But he has promised to finish it for a flight tomorrow at his local fly in. With a bunch of guys called the Heart Of England Kite Fliers link here

Been having fun with Pumpkins kitten as well. That cat is a total nutter
Apart from stealing Pumkins pencil and mugging both the craft knife and scissors he discovered that a piece of template on a wood floor makes a great slide.
Run at full speed down the hall and pounce and he can get all the way across Pumpkin's kite room on the template.
Kittens and sewing machines don't mix but they are trying to Twisted Evil
I'm learning some new words but can't share them cos they're all spelt with asterixes

How is your new companion doing, the Royal 69 sled ? Were you already out for your first flight ?
Oh - wait... - it's not 'tomorrow' yet, I guess.... Confused ...Time difference.... Rolling Eyes

Well, I'm about ready to move on but before I do, here's a little photo diary

I'm supervising as the template is cut out for the 69er

With a little help from Pumpkins Kitten

Who also decided to help in the cutting out

But we got it cut and sewn and went flying this morning. In a place called Sutton Park in Birmingham UK (Sutton Coldfield really)
This is my mate the 69er and if you look close, that little black rectangle underneath is me.

Had a great view from up there

The drogue is red white and blue for some reason Laughing

The weather wasn't too good and while we were flying I thought something had scared all the humans...suddenly there was a stampede of them

Turned out to be a fun run... the 7 pools run that goes all around the park. It's a big park so they had to run a long way. No wonder some were on bicycles. This is Dave Salmon flying a stunt kite while the runners went past.

Thanks to the guys at the Heart of England Monthly Fly in. Most of them belong to the Midland Kite Flyers and this is their banner

They signed 69er so we got a record and tomorrow I'm going to visit a guy called Harrier in a place called Clacton.
Him and a few friends like Pete and Skunk usually have an informal show on the beach every sunday so me and the sled are going to fly there Laughing
