Back from the mountains......
I just came back from Crêt du Midi, above Vercorin in the swiss alps. It was a great festival, I met many people and saw a lot of new things.
They let me take my own pictures! That was quite a bit of work - they hooked a KAP-Rig into the line of my mate the 69er and I tried to capture my point of view in a photograph.
I had to say goodbye to Albert, who was my travelmate for a long way through europe, and then I went with Petra to Zurich. She will take care of me for the upcoming time, till I know where I want to go next. I heard about many different possibilities - I guess I'll stay in Europe for some more time.
Bernhard and Petra were also talking about the possibility to bring me to Southafrica in October..... ....going for a ride on a elephant.... ...would be nice, I guess!
I'll take a little nap (this thin air up on 2336 above sea level really makes you tired...) and wait for Petra to come home from work. Than we will have a look at the pictures and show you some of them.
See you later! _________________ My ongoing mission

Who knows... - would be nice!
We just sorted the pics out and I'd like to show you a cuple of them.
My -temporarily- last flight with kitefreak. Here I met Petra for the first time, togheter with her boyfriend, Bernhard and Karl-Ulrich.
Here I am - high above the mountains !
The view from the top of the mountain is just incredible!
I met many different kites and their pilots. I had a little chat with a seal....
....and with a frog.
While I was flying next to the frog, it suddenly....
....snatched at a fly! Gosh - I'm really glad I'm not a fly....
I saw some weird kites.....
...they were really huge! Just when I wanted to have a closer look, their owner picked them up and jumped off the mountain.
I met again the fantastic Edo-kites from Albert, which had travelled the whole way from Fanø to Vercorin together with me. I also met the legendary "Lurchi" from Bernhard.
Right on the day one year after his -involuntarily- swim in the North sea, "Lurchi" went for a flight in the alps.
That's me, together with my mate the 69er, doing hard work. There was a lot of wind and it was pretty gusty. Not easy to keep the KAP-Rig stable and make some nice pictures, but.....
...I made it! This is a picture, we took.
At sunday I had the chance to see, what a thunderstorm in the mountains means. Wow....
The evenings were really nice. It's a very special ambiance up there.
Every event ends at some place - so did this one and we had to go down to the valley again.
Now I'm in Zurich, relaxing and waiting for the next adventure to come. _________________ My ongoing mission

Hi @ all !
Petra is at work again - but forgot to switch off her laptop.....
I thought I'd take the chance to expand my photoalbum !
So if anybody wants to see what I saw last weekend, just have a look at my album (click on the www-symbol below).
By the way - for a chronological correct order, you should start with the last picture.
I had to learn today that the upload should be started with the last picture you want to show....
See you later ! _________________ My ongoing mission
