Me too - I've been playing with mine a lot lately....
Excellent job, Airtime! I love the graphics and color choice! Well done.
And David: I just love your pictures. You (and your friends, one of whom must have taken the pic above) obviously know what you're doing. _________________ Simon

This is how mine turned out. It is a nice and stable kite, even without tail:
I've made some small moderations: no pocket for spars but a loop, where the spanner of the cross-spar is also connected to. I did the same for my rok:
Due to a small error in cutting my material, the pocket is bicolored:
It was a great way to make a kite, step by step, and being able to admire the kites build by others. So thank Bill, you and many steady winds! |

Except for the bridle, bow-line and attaching the tail, it's finished! Of course now the weather is supposed to be horrible for the next week. Today would be great if it weren't for the wind, a constant 20-30 MPH right now with gusts over 40...
Maiden flight is probably postponed until next week. Oh well. I'll be sure to take pictures.
I definitely had fun building it and it came out way better than I expected, especially being my first kite build.

I'm a big fan of bound edges and the black on your kite looks great John. |
