Bernhard,
I've still got the seal up near the top of my kite making list and now your wonderful parrot has joined it. Thanks for sharing it with us all. Any plans for the english translation? _________________ Regards

Nice parrot. Is this one related to one sold on a fairly well known web site? Or is it unrelated?
I am not trying to stir anything up, I am just wondering if there is any relation. Looks like maybe both come from Germany.
I see several differences between the birds, so maybe they are distant cousins.

@Dave,
the only relation between this totally different parrots is it, that 4 kitefriends had the same idea ! On the kitefestival Fuerteventura, Canary Islands we saw children toy parrots and so everybody bought one. Independent from each other, we started building our kites and now you'll find 4 different inflatable parrots in Germany !
I organised a Bird-Meeting last year during the festival in Fanø, Danmark.
Back to this plan:
The first new parrots are build in Austria :
You find them in the Austrian kiteforum leinenzupfer:
Aren't they beautiful !? _________________ www.drachenbernhard.de |

Maybe it is a Puffin. I could not see the head very well. I just saw the black and white body. I just assumed....... that is a dangerous thing, sometimes! _________________

Yep It's definitely a puffin, I like the pun as it is also known as the parrot of the sea, because of it's multi coloured bill. _________________ Trevor
