Arches & Ribbons

Arch trains consist of multiple kites linked end to end with a common line and tethered (or held in place) at both ends of the train. Arch ribbons are formed from a continuous piece of fabric that is tethered to the ground (or held in place) at both ends of the ribbon.

PLAN/LINK KITEBUILDER COMMENT
Eddy Arch John Murray This plan for a kite arch is based upon one by Tony Wolfenden in Napier, New Zealand, Karen O'Connor and the Kite West team fly in Indonesia
Eddy Arch Doldrums Kite Club The kite arch will be made up of around 20 or more diamond shaped kites, using a single flying line as the cross spar for each kite
Skybow Jim Mallos It's a kind of kite that acts like an anti-gravity rope---when you and a friend hold it across the wind it pulls upward making a huge arch in the sky.
